Well its easier to say than Space Exploration Technologies Corporation.

I recall it patching once, but I already had GFWL from Halo 2 and Arkham Asylum on cheap sales. Was a fairly simple process, and it boots up and runs rather quickly from steam. /shrug/

Can't speak to when it first came out, but I picked up GTA4 on a steam sale a few years back (already had it on 360) and it plays quite well. Much easier to drive and aim accurately with a mouse, and the game runs much smoother on my pc.

Register the key with yer battle net account and you can download either client. Pretty sure the retail disc has both versions as well.

And that's why after I picked up my Collector's Edition at midnight eastern, and with 3 hours till launch, I set an alarm for 7am and went to bed. Woke up fresh and got in a solid few hours with my Wizard, Blasto, before I had to go to work.

/shrug/ I only get a few games day-one anyway (2 last year), and I usually pre-order and pay those off with plenty of time in advance of launch night. The manager at my local gamestop always bakes a themed cake. Its a pretty good incentive.

Some of the earliest games I remember playing as a young kid were Lemmings and Lode Runner. Always had to ask my dad how to start them up, lol.
