Activision-Blizzard (the official name of the merged company) is the Publisher for Bungie. Only makes sense to use their own in-house launcher.

Activision are the publishers, Activision are also associated with Blizzard.
Same. I feel like at some point, a switch flipped, and the ubiquity of voice chat utterly doomed it.
It’s sad, because I have fond memories of voice chat in games like Modern Warfare and even the early days of SOCOM, but lately, I’ve been quick to hit the mute or even playing with all-mute in games like PUBG.
This kind of shit is why I immediately mute every single human being on voice chat in any online multiplayer game.
It wouldn’t be whitewashing, since manga makes it pretty obvious it takes place in fantasy Europe, with white people, blue eyes and blond hair. So that’s yellowashing, what’s happening here.
This is actually one of the cases where I feel whitewashing would have been appropriate :P
That said, I also don’t know what to think about it. You barely see anything. It looks good I guess? But I don’t like how transmutation looks. Should be more fluid, I feel.
This is a problem I have with a lot of anime movies, but the costumes look really cheap and fake, like they’re cosplay accessories rather than proper film costumes. I think it’s because the colours are too bright or something.
Don’t think the roll cage caved, it looks like when the hood hit the roof, the camera shifted up in the mount. Everything in view gets shifted down.
Hanzo is a superfun character with a rich redemption-based storyline and a fuedal Japan type of background. Good, but feeds into dumb stereotypes about white boys obsessed with anime.
I would like to remind everyone that this is not censorship and that Playtonic as a private business has the right to express itself as they see fit. If they do not wish to include voice work by a controversial figure in their video game that is well within their right. Jon’s free speech was not violated in any way…
That Sombra GIF isn’t really BS though. The opposing team didn’t make it to the point, the Sombra did. They outplayed their opponents and got a win for it without cheating. That’s legit.
The debate was spur of the moment, thinking on his feet with no time to apply a coating of bullshit to his viewpoints. Here he had time to prepare and cover the nastier parts of his views with the appropriate doublespeak.
Jon’s views aren’t based on real statistics, but from Breitbart bullshit. He argued that the most well off black person is still more violent and more likely to commit crimes than the worst off whites. Please don’t let him half-assedly backpedal from such a blatantly racist (and factually incorrect) statement.
I think people were like, “Hey this is good.” Until Witcher 3 came out and it made Inquisition look like amateur poetry night at the improv.
Can we all just be honest with ourselves and admit this game looks like horse shit? Bioware is a pale imitation of what it once was. They haven’t put out a great game since Mass Effect 2. The fact they get so much unwarranted good will makes no sense to me.
I’m in love with Jim Sterling’s duality of having some of the most banal, bizarre, and crude humor out there while also having one of the sharpest, most insightful minds analyzing the gaming industry right now. It is good that he won.
Front end was contained and yet the back still went for the nearest grouping of bystanders
Unless it’s on fire, yes.
