I think that we as a demographic are going to find that our nostalgia of past system reveals just doesn't matter anymore. Gaming isn't a niche market anymore, more people own Video Game consoles then they own almost anything else, a Car, a House... And as time moves on, its not going to get any less mainstream.

I agree with the majority of the people here about the Medium difficulty setting being the setting I play most games on. However, after I beat a game on said difficulty I will generally bump the difficulty to whatever the max is for a second play through just to challenge myself.
