@xd.Balls: You sir, will get not argument from me there, lol.
@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: I just logged into my WZR-HP-G300NH and with the latest DD-WRT firmware (From DD-WRT, developed for the router) you can indeed add guest networks without issue.
@sufreak: The Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH supports DHCP reservation, and you can change the DHCP lease period. And its supported directly by the DD-WRT folks.
@El Pollo Loco: No, Apple has software available for the PC that allows you to do exactly the same thing as you are able to do on the MAC.
@ursa: Awww, c'mon, you don't miss routers like Netgear's old RangeMax series? That thing gave new meaning to Disco Inferno... only it was Blue, and triggered epileptic seizures. I couldn't believe that router left Netgear's Q&A and Testing Departments with them thinking that was an OK design feature.
@Neopolis: I'm doing it on the Buffalo router listed above (Not quite 400, but 3 PC's in the house are seeding/downloading at any given time. And the seeding never stops, ever.)
@funstraw: The aren't listing prices because some reviews happened over 7 months ago. And this is essentially just Copypasta from Maximum PC.
@FiXXXerX: It just struck me, for any Warhammer 40k fans out there, I've essentially turned the WRT54G into a Servitor.
@Ellomdian: I'd take the Buffalo any day. Hardware being what it is, all the Buffalo equipment I've had has held up extremely well. $70 for the router listed on this page, with full support from the DD-WRT team. Was even able to take my old WRT54G and turn it into a Wireless Bridge with the micro build of DD-WRT. Was…
@Nieros: Just go an pick up some Grey Market equipment (RE: Dirt Cheap), maybe some old Cisco WAP's, a nice Catalyst Switch... and then overkill the HELL out of it ;)
So, here is a problem I have with the review of the Buffalo router... is from earlier this year, much earlier (3/9/10). Prior to when DD-WRT released they're own version of the firmware for the device.
@Vanilla-Terror: What are you hiding in there... we already know what a 50char password means... must be some naughty stuff you and the GF are into ;) /commence password guessing
So you're saying that Hipsters and Geeks should be BFF's because of some sort of social divide that unites them?
@dtown_clunker: I wanted to promote your comment, but I can't, so I promote YOU.
@impreza_punk: Its like granite, or some other material that's harder than that... but I'm no rockologist so who knows.
@impreza_punk: Then you have no soul. NO SOUL!! [vimeo.com]
@Wes Lawson: Because throwing a City into a baler would be impossible. We all know that cities are WAY To heavy to throw... oh wait, that's your way of belittling City Folk, just like the original post belittled Farmers/Southerners... never mind, continue to call out the color of kettle.
@octasquid: Drag and drop does work, but even with short cuts its still no where near as efficient as cut+paste. If the machine you use primarily is a Mac run OSX and you really haven't use Windows much then maybe its not a feature you would even think about. But I use both machines every day (Work machine is a…
@sxs3200: Is $5 to much to erase a grievous annoyance?
