The Range Rover’s proper full name including both brand and model being “Land Rover Range Rover” has always struck me as incredibly awkward, and I honestly don’t know anyone who ever refers to it that way instead of just “Range Rover”.

I like shifting gears and the changes of acceleration throughout the powerband. Balancing that with throwing a car around a racetrack at it’s absolute limit is a challenge that I find fun. Instant torque is fun but it’s a one trick pony that gets old after a few launches.

Possibly. I always felt the Fords looked better, seemed a bit more posh, and conveyed a more upscale image. Of course, those elements are all subjective, but I feel that in suburban America the Ford Explorer was more of a symbol of success than the Blazer was.
Yeah it’s like expecting someone who’s into fancy watches to be drooling over an Apple watch just because it has more functions.
