Nothing has changed since the last time?? Jesus, the Bad Orange Man is out of the White House. You can stop pushing doom and gloom reference COVID-19. Literally everything has changed since last August. We have very effective vaccines, for one, with more on the way. I love how you just gloss over the fact that the…
Shouldn’t it be written by people who at least have an interest in them?
Why does it seem like a lot of the Truck Yeah articles are written by people who don’t want or even like trucks?
Sounds just like APPLE products.
Hahahaha, right?
For a while McKenna was the only VW and Subaru game in town. While I cannot confirm their shittiness with a personal story of this magnitude, I’ve e-mailed back and forth with them enough in the mid-aughts trying to buy a GTI or a WRX, that none of this surprises me in the slightest.
Here’s the thing. Big tires? roof racks? slight lift? These are the things that are easily and cheaply solved in the aftermarket. You know what these models NEED and can’t be provided by the aftermarket? Transmissions that don’t pull power, overheat and die after 50,000 miles when used off-road.
You should know by now that Bradley has the worst takes about practically everything.
How I picture David Tracy’s childhood (not shown: miles of rust on the Power Wheel):
I never had much enthusiasm for the Used Car dealership until I was just about to move on from GT5 and posted my collection on GTPlanet to see if anyone wanted a freebie from me. And damn if I didn’t have a really good time giving away my cars to people who were genuinely appreciative that I had a particular car they…
Sync is just like Windows, skip every other version. Having worked at Microsoft during Sync2 fiasco, Ford probably pulled the same thing. Sync 3, done by BB, Sync 4 brought it inhouse and turned it into a turd. History repeats itself. Sync3 though, not the prettiest UI, works great in my Ford.
Honestly, I always loved the progression in the GT series. Start out with 10k credits, buy a used FD RX7* for 9k and go hunt some Civics. Then you can take your couple grand in credits you just won and figure out whether you want to buy stickier tires, an upgraded suspension or a better clutch. Or do you just race it…
Hopefully they figure out that people loved the old games, in particular GT2, because it had an awesome assortment of nerd-quality cars, awesome championships at every level, and made it fun without taking 6 hours every time you fired it up.
The used car dealership was one of my favorite things this series has ever done. I remember saving up money and hoping I had enough for the in-game couple days when the used 787B was finally going to show up.
I know the lede image is fake, but it still makes me cringe that a car is sitting there revving to 7,000 rpm with no oil pressure.
blah blah blah are we getting a true Used Car dealership again? Real wheel choices? Bringing back the car wash?
But look how happy you made my boy. Totally worth it. We don’t get machines this classy in Ann Arbor too often.
Yep.
Dont forget this one:
