I’ve owned 9 Fords, 1 Saturn and 1 Jeep, and needless to say, I will keep buying and owning Fords as they have been great to me. None of them have ever left me stranded, even though they all had 150k+ miles on em. The Saturn was a fix and flip, and the Jeep was a heep.

Not anymore. They have rain tires and wipers now, so if it does rain, they will race in it. Haven’t seen it yet, though.

Who Doesn’t?

I think they should have just put a tiny “OR” between the EcoBoost and then it would be accurate. It’s either Eco or BOOST, not both.

At the GM dealership, we always called the ecotechs “Eco-Trash”.. not sure if the ford tech’s have a similar name for EcoBoost...maybe EgoBoost for all the cocky owners?

Hate to say that, but that’s what happens every single time, with every single automaker. It’s not about the safety of the people that drive their cars, it’s about the bottom line in the long run.

It was for a couple of months when the junk yard were stocked with tons of good cars and parts. And then they all disappeared, and now there is a shortage of nice, decent, semi-low mileage used vehicles, and decent parts. The junk yards around here are very slim pickens now.

LMAO, Michigan is the Florida of the Midwest. Is it ironic that Michiganders always go to Florida for vacation? I think not.

You won’t until you ride one.. they are fun as shit man

Ugly. Damn, didn’t they just come out with a “new” design 2 or 3 years ago? I guess that’s how quickly these ugly, over-styled trucks get stale.

Manufacturers

Yup, and we can thank stricter emissions regulations for that. 6.0’s are reliable with the emissions shit deleted, and were great engines by design until ford had to put a patch job of an emissions control system on it that sacrificed the reliability of the engine. The same thing is true for the 6.4.

They certainly have their issues when you’re stranded in the side of I-70 waiting for the trans to cool down, and then having to stop every 5 miles. Thanks Nissan. Glad they replaced the trans after 7 attempts to “duplicate the concern.”

Exactly my thoughts.. this can’t be good for any automaker..

Yes, yes it is. The ones who failed to acknowledge their own mistakes, but are quick to point out other’s.

Thing is perfect to have in a pocket or car in case some crazy shit happens or you get into an accident. I’ve used mine a shit ton, and still use it occasionally.

Holy Orange Peel!

Not one part number changed on the GM Ignition switch deal either..

That’s a fairly common issue with the Focus with a Moonroof. The supports come unglued and then the headliner rattles a bit. They will fix it for free under warranty, if it still is, and if it bothers you enough.
