To all of the Jezebel staffers, I’m so sorry. Your value has never been properly recognized by the bean counters who misunderstand media so completely. I have enjoyed reading your thoughts and getting to know all of you through your unique voices, even when we may have disagreed or approached an issue from a different

Fuck this company and the herb so hard. They’re not even going to let the writers do any kind of goodbye or even tell people that the site is shutting down.

Genuinely bummed out by the site closure. I’d like to express my gratitude to the Jezebel staffers for generally being good sports about my tomfoolery these past few years. I’ll confess to having some Tomato-style accounts here. Yes, I was Crystal Jewell, the 25-year old grad student from Iowa — along with some

Wow. That just hit me like a punch in the throat. Devastated for the staff, their families, and these who genuinely engaged with the site over the years. I’ve been commenting for about ten years now. Jezebel has been part of my daily online life for a decade. Ugh.

Came here after hearing about the shut down. Thanks for being one of my favorite sites for almost 10 years. Y’all deserved so much better

The actors strike ends (pending a vote) and Jez gets shut down for good. Thanks for the memories Jez.

He served for five years in the RAF and the Royal Navy.

Although I appreciate the review, I’ve always found FAMs final episodes to be it’s strongest, so I’m still all in.

Indubitably

You wouldn’t? He has the money, I don’t blame him for trying everything possible (and credible). I mean he also probably wants to get back to his acting career as soon as possible and while he still can, too.

Why does it feel like there’s so much snark in an article about an actor who nearly died trying to protect his nephew talking about his recovery process? Maybe I’m wrong, but the tone here seems weird, specifically in the last paragraph. Just weird, regardless of what you think of Renner as a person/performer.

Soapy or not, I’ll still watch. I think people had the idea that this would be more “documentary with realized characters” rather than “character-driven prestige drama with alt-space race as the setting.” It’s much more the latter now, and honestly it could still be stunningly good if they didn’t...you know, like

If I’m one of the three people on earth who actually loved the soapy Danny–Karen nonsense of seasons 2–3, will I like this?

I seriously doubt ol’ Harry had anything to do with this whole thing, if you get my drift.

Right?

Can I get a little love for Soft Cell’s version of “Tainted Love”?

This post is poorly written and confusing.

I tend to think an invite was sent but Harry  has decided that anything that does not arrive in his preferred manner does not count.

Now playing

Don’t forget this OTHER blistering Hendrix take on a Dylan classic:

At least top 10. 1) It’s a song by the great Ms. Dolly. 3) The absolutely undeniable powerhouse vocal by Ms. Whitney, without which no one who didn’t watch the Porter Waggoner Show would ever have heard it. 4) The cultural impact! This song was humongous.
