I got almost the exact same thing on day 3 of a meth binge once. It wasn’t amphetamine psychosis, I could seriously smell electrical outlets. I went to see a Motorhead show that night and it was overpowering near the back of the stage where the amps were plugged in (I had a backstage pass).

How we, such a fucked-up nation, ever elected such a level-headed and fundamentally decent man, is totally beyond me.
I oppose the death penalty too, not because no one deserves death for their crimes (I firmly believe some people do), but because I am convinced there is no way to fairly and uniformly apply it.
Theoretically, it allows people living under repressive regimes to post freely and without fear of reprocussion. It has also been touted as a safe forum for whistle blowers.
No first hand knowledge, but I believe (and certainly hope) they do,
