I just would like to take this opportunity to say that I use "Welcome to earf" way too often.

I have teared up with a decent amount of books, but I was flat out sobbing at the end.

Old man doesn't give a fuck about clouds.

I legitimately laughed out loud at the comment that said "I cut my ears off but I can still hear the noise."

I like to see The Shade on sOme one else's list. I listened to that song daily for like a month when the single first released.

Space Song is so freaking good Hnnnnnnng.

Pretty Pimpin - Kurt Vile
The Shade - Metric
Space Song - Beach House
Need a Friend - EL VY
Impossible Winner - Dead Weather
Should Have Known Better - Sufjan Stevens
Holy Ghost - A$ap Rocky
Snakeskin - Deerhunter
Living Zoo - Built to Spill
Best Room- Modest Mouse

The call was coming from inside the house!

I'll add my personal experience, as I'm younger than a lot of people on the site. My age for watching Sesame Street would have been the first few years of the 2000's, and I know my mom didn't like me watching the show, because she thought it promoted short attention spans.

The writers room of Pepe, Rizzo, and Gonzo is probably the best part of the show.

Of the "newer" muppets, my favorite is Rizzo the Rat, just because of the Muppets Christmas Carol.

Nice to see Meg Myers on there. I didn't love the album enough for it to reach boty status, but I still enjoyed it a lot.

have you not listened to Carrie and Lowell? Because if you haven't, you've made a grave mistake that should probably be rectified immediately.

I like Bloom slightly better, but they are both amazing albums.

Top 5:

If you think that, then you didn't read the one about Gary and his pin-up of a sexy female Hutt.

I'm not perfect about it, but I am conscious to the fact that a reaction to finding you have a shared hobby or interest should always be "what do we have in common that we can share" not "I bet I'm way more into this hobby than you". I've certainly never been the type to say it out loud and quiz people of shirts, but

I don't think it has the band name on it.

Yeah I've seen a few people with The Unknown Pleasures shirt. While I'm not gonna be that hipster asshole that goes up and quizzes them on their Joy Division knowledge, I can't imagine they are the type of person who would know anything about Joy Division.

I'm a bit sad that I had That I had to go down like 6 threads to find one that was actually about the book, but I'm glad to see there are others that love it as well. It's just such a fascinatingly strange book.
