My philosophy on this type of stuff is people forgave Zeppelin, so if the band proves that they can write good music without ripping off, then I can give them a little bit of slack with "these things happening", and I don't honestly see an argument over wether Petty has written good stuff without plagiarizing

It's not as bad as the episode where Tom literally went to Hell. For being a 6 year old who's understanding of Christianity was there was a guy named Noah that like animals and there was also a guy named Jesus, that episode was pretty trippy for me.
