The first movie is my favorite adaptation of the TMNT (with the 4Kids series close behind) but my reaction to this is a big, hefty “NO.” The time has passed. Any potential the movie would have would be ruined by executive meddling anyhow.

It's not really that complicated though. They build up a bank, then have to survive the Beast chasing them via trivia, and whoever survives has to survive one final chase to get the money.
