I guess they can get away with the live food due to the small episode count. The original Sweep had a lot of its food go rotten by the end of the season.

Hot take: Live Free > Die Harder
Cullen only comes back to voice Optimus. They actually tried to get him back to do Toonami promos back in the day, but he declined.
Can’t wait for the io9 or AV Club article saying how they’re all tired of this and how empty a gesture this is because Biden isn’t a Progressive-progressive and isn’t Bernie Sanders, with the implication that it’s better not to vote at all.
Not to the extent shown in the comic since I don't play MMOs, but I actually have gone back and replayed games just for the opening few hours. Something oddly comforting about that. A few times I have even gone back before actually finishing my initial save file.
I mean, Michael Strahan has two very successful jobs already and still hosts $100,000 Pyramid. Alec Baldwin and Elizabeth Banks ain’t hurting for money either. Anthony Anderson actually launched his hosting gig into a new commercial branding deal with his mom.
I wonder if it’s due to her actually cameoing in the movie, or if it’s because she’s doing it under the movie’s in-universe branding and not the actual station’s branding.
Yea, Adult Swim would disagree with you. Back in the day, between around 2007 or so until Toonami’s revival, only Bleach really got good ratings on the Saturday anime block. Even high profile shows like Code Geass and Eureka Seven bombed. Toonami revitalized interest in anime on the network. FLCL S2/3, Uzumaki, Blade…
Maybe you weren’t here then, but Kotaku’s former sister site Splinter did indeed try to rally people around that idea, which was then shared to all the Gizmodo sites.
It would have to have the Toonami branding, though. The reruns of DBZ Kai, Super, and MHA done outside of Toonami were absolutely pitiful, even taking the time slot (Saturdays at 8pm for the former two, Monday-Friday at 5:30am for the latter) into account.
Nah. Only Funimation dubs air on Toonami after being posted online. Viz and Aniplex stuff air on Toonami first, then go on streaming a few months afterwards. And stuff that AS pays for themselves (such as FLCL Seasons 2/3) airs there months before Crunchyroll. Plus, a large part of Toonami’s audience simply doesn’t…
??? A decent TV costs under $100 now and a decent antenna is under $50, maybe even under $30 depending on where you live. And with diginets now a thing, most people can get over 20 channels via antenna. And you don’t even have to pay any ISP a single dime.
....Seriously? Out of all the sports, you pick the NFL?
DB Super only did a million viewers for the dub premiere. Reruns have done half that.
D’aw. Thanks. :)
The trailer is fanmade, but the pilot itself was indeed awful.
Palicki is a fine actress, but the pilot was god-awful. I honestly think the terrible 90's Justice League pilot was better.
“Looks back” and the header is a picture of her back with her tilting her head backwards. I see what you did there!
“Everyone is happy instead of being stuck in a constant cycle of uncertainty and fear. Neighbors can hold conversations without spending the next two weeks worrying about every cough.”
There have been various handwaves, but more often than not, the given explanation is “Just don’t think about it.” Especially since Spider-Man essentially wearing socks on his feet is ignored quite often by giving him soles on the bottom of his suit’s outfit.
