Actually impressed that the Japanese version got a native English speaker (presumably a drama actor in Japan) to do the part instead of having a Japanese actor attempt to speak English horribly.

I’m sure the jokes will be all kinds of original and not at all something we’ve heard 500,000 times at this point.
Clothes depends on how functional they are. Stuff like armor, swords, etc. aren’t typically eligible since copyright law for clothing goes for function over fashion. So, since you’re not going bounty hunting, your Mandalorian cosplay would only be for decoration, and thus, protected.
Cosplay typically falls under fair use, even if it’s NSFW.
Question, was it actually Nintendo, or The Pokémon Company, that issued the C&D? They are technically two different companies and TPC is FAR more protective of their IP than even Nintendo is, particularly in situations which aren’t safe for kids.
Yea, they were added as one of the first guest fighters. They all share the same slot, with you changing Turtles based on what variation you use.
They weren’t of the level of the SNES version of Turtles in Time, but the GBA/DS games based on the 2003 series were really fun.
IMO, a better deal would be for Nickelodeon to once again pair with Konami, and release a nice Collection of all the old-school TMNT games. The two arcade, the four NES, the three Game Boy, the two SNES/Genesis, and just for shits and giggles, the three GBA/DS games.
The animation doesn’t have that annoying “high budget Flash cartoon” look a lot of modern cartoons use, which is great.
Who the fuck puts tomato on a bagel sandwich?
IIRC, if you try to talk to the Toad when it’s stuck under the ground, you instantly die.
Nah. New SMB 2 is merely considered bland and average, not outright bad. Lost Levels is genuinely seen as terrible.
Doki Doki Panic was originally a Mario game until Nintendo redressed the sprites with Fuji TV mascots.
Wait, what? Super Mario Kart released worldwide. It even got high acclaim. The reason it’s not as beloved as the RPGs is because the SNES was primarily known for single player games. Outside of SMK, multiplayer was mostly relegated to fighters, puzzlers, and sports games.
If you wanna get technical, we didn't get the original Lost Levels until the Wii Virtual Console.
I mean, it was originally going to be a Mario game in the first place, but then a licensing deal was struck and it became Doki Doki Panic.
Wait, are there people who genuinely think Lost Levels is better?
I swear that header image looks like they lazily pasted a still image of Wayne Knight’s head onto someone else’s body.
Cost. Retron 5 is relatively cheap in price for an all-in-one, but the emulation quality is OK at best and they die pretty easily. Analogue have released top tier, high quality clone consoles, but they are expensive as hell and only play one system at a time. Gonna have a hard time marrying the two, and lord knows…
TMNT was Injustice, not MK.
