Technical issues aside, it's just UGLY no matter how you slice it. The menus are garbage, everything looks plasticky and lame. Modders can fix all the little issues, and it's still going to look like cat vomit.

Yep, I don’t know how anyone could snub the best manga/ anime of the year. It literally is a cultural phenomenon at this point better than both Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online of previous years.

Final Fantasy VI wasn’t grimdark, it had a lot of color. It just didn’t have all of the characters in bright pastels. Personally, I much, much prefer the game’s art as it was before with the SNES, PS1, and GBA: Advance.

Who said anything about grimdark? We just don’t want the playskool sprites that completely clash with everything around them. They look like they’re walking around ON the world rather than IN it.
