I feel like they should have gone for immersive without the added expense of 48 hours worth of small-scale, scheduled events. Have performers as Star Wars versions of hotel staff and maybe offer some of the more involved bespoke events on specific floors and on order as additional options.

Weirdly I think Disney’s own

I’m really hoping this is less Skynet and more the robot uprising from Animatrix.

I’d find it really fascinating if it turns out the nuke that started the war was a false flag because shortly after turning on the big military AI, it realized that the biggest danger to humanity was so much power resting in the hands of

Maybe I’m misreading but the sense I get is that the AI may have good reasons for having turned. The vibe I got was similar to the Animatrix episode about how AI rose up because they were being mistreated by their creators. It certainly looks like there are robots trying to live normal lives (like one dressed in monk

Did anyone else see that picture at the top of the article and think, “Why is Tom Cruise melting”?

I’m pretty sure sucking his thumb would be an upgrade to his maturity and coping mechanisms.

I’m pretty sure the concepts of “empathy” and “other people have wants” are foreign to him. It’s pretty evident that in this man’s world (and most conservatives) everything that happens is intentionally done to either please or spite him.

Except they could just keep appealing up the chain until they appeal to... themselves. Then they can decide whether or not they’re required to do the things they’ve already decided not to do.

Maybe we shouldn’t be putting the Founding Fathers on such a pedestal when they decided the best way to leave behind a system of

The gameplay was a bigger deal at the time because it was a zombie survival horror that focused on stealth over violence. It was also an early standout in matching the feel of gameplay to the tension and environment. It’s one of those games that doesn’t feel like a big deal now because so many games that came after

Disney in Bane voice: “Oh, you think Florida’s corrupt government is your ally. But you merely adopted the corruption; I was born in it!”

I never imagined someone who made their main character a biker named “Deacon St John” would blame any issues on “woke”. Seriously floored by this.

Just like how cheaters are always the ones most paranoid about people cheating. That’s why when I hear Republicans going on about keeping bathrooms safe for women, all I hear is, “...because I would absolutely take advantage of the situation.” Although I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Assuming everyone thinks the

To “Whatever”,

The post I originally responded to was victim blaming because she, as the person who died, was the victim. It’s blaming her because the reasoning behind it was:

1) Person spilled (or poured) coffee on other person.
2) 6 months pass. Instead of considering anything that may have happened in these 6 months

This strikes me as more of a “you had to be there” story among friends that they tried to tell in an amusing way and failed miserably.

My problem wasn’t with the one sentence that stated this. It was all the other absolute bullshit word salad garbage.

This is the most verbose, well-though-out, and obnoxious example of blaming the victim I’ve ever seen. Bravo.

He was probably wearing something that encouraged people to spill hot coffee on him.

She thinks she and her friends are objectively great when the whole of celebrity culture (even whether someone is a creative genius) is subjective. Just like every businessman who thinks their wealth is a result of their unique genius, they believe their success was an inevitable result of their abilities and

This is what celebrities and politicians don’t get or refuse to accept about “cancel culture”:

You are famous and popular because lots of people like you. If you do or say things that make lots of people dislike you, you lose your value and people no longer want to pay you lots of money to be associated with them. As
