@Monty: I figure evolution's been at this whole business of creating creatures much longer than we have, so maybe we can borrow an innovation or two.

I keep looking at it and wondering if this is really the same Canon that makes DSLRs and shinny white lenses...
The current MTA map isn't exactly the most visually appealing, but I don't see what this redesign offers over it or Vignelli's map (and yes, I read the Kick Design site.)
@SaintAndre: Welcome to New York City. There are companies (yes, big ones) that frankly wouldn't be running day to day if it weren't for their staff of unpaid interns. This is even more the case since that whole 'recession' thing came by.
I have little to no love for Apple, and can certainly sympathize with anyone sick of hear people brag about the inane capabilities of their iProducts, and I do love me some Starcraft 2, but even passing this guy's stringent criteria I really don't think I'd want to share an apartment with him...
@KamWrex: Hey, that's just what happens when you have a profile full of personal information hosted publicly on the internet.
Since everyone else is commenting only to point of the double post...
@Murray Hewitt: That took me a second, and then I lold.
@TanyaRei: I think it's more of a 'preventing teen pregnancy' thing, rather than an 'all sex is the devil' thing.
Wait, so. The MTA is in financial trouble, had to axe the V and reroute the M amongst other service cuts, and they're... Blowing money on getting cell signal and wifi throughout the entire subway system?
@ckcallen: Ah, but being able to leave the better half of the creative suite running *and* still run a game on top of it with decent framerates. And maybe firefox with a good two or three dozen tabs open, just for giggles.
@Adam Spano: my first thought.
Shouldn't it be #snapekillsdumbledore rather than #dumbledoredies?
Because Nokia's own Maemo (soon to live on as Meego) isn't open source or capable of multitasking. It also hasn't been around longer than Android or anything either.
@Griffehpoo: I think you're right. The excitement over button-less led-laden things previously was the exact same thing, they were embraced because they were different, they offered a refreshing departure for the norm. Now they're the new norm. And the next norm will be the new norm.
@The Yellow Peril: What you said, man.
Information is power, you should be careful with yours.
@Otacon91: I'm not exactly a huge proponent of 3D or anything, but I just put those glasses over my normal glasses and I've never had an issue... I mean, I suppose I'd look kinda silly, but hey, isn't that why they dim the lights in the theaters?
@seanpat12: Why the hell do you need an application to browse Gizmodo? You already have one, you know, it's called a web browser.
@IowaState11: Also agreeing. I figure it's probably some pressure from Gawker to push Gizmodo's presence in the wonderful (*gag*) world of social media, but it always comes off and both pointless and hypocritical.
