Absolutely. I do respect Chris Long for this, and for his take on Colin Kaepernick. But Ron Paul believes some real bullshit and so do his followers.

I think you can respect someone who is at least consistent about it.
Isn’t it amazing how many people think and act as if 1965 was THOUSANDS of years ago?
Which part of the democratic party platform was that on? When did Bernie Sanders talk about it? Sure, the individuals pursuing those issues are probably on the liberal end of the spectrum, but to say that football player safety is a “liberal” issue is kind of silly, speaking as a liberal. The average person probably…
So you’re saying they just have a deferens of opinion?
However you didn’t mind getting a 4 year free ride at UVA, founded by a slave owner.
I have no fucking clue what you’ve done here but I support it.
If it helps, his general political position is like a Ron Paul libertarian. That doesn’t make him wrong about any of this (especially the one about what liberals thought of him before all this) but it may help you to keep some distance.
the only thing i care about in football is when the winning team lines up to gently kiss the tip of the president’s penis and receive a championship muffin

One of my favorite Seinfeld exchanges was when Jerry’s stereo was damaged in shipment and Newman was convinced he had broken it after receiving it. So he brings Jerry in and sits him under a hot lamp and starts to question him, assuming Jerry will wilt under the interrogation.
At this point, how many collegiate athletic programs are not doing something completely horrific and/or illegal?
I disagree with toning down the moral arguments. We have a moral case to make for our preferred policies and should make it. Not sure what making a moral case for reproductive justice, a better living wage and equality for all has to do with shitting on farmers tbh, seems like kind of a false choice you’re setting up.
To me, “guerilla” implies a hit-and-run style, which doesn’t make sense in a sport like tennis—as if a tennis player might alternately engage and disengage their opponent. Plus, “Charging” pretty clearly favors the “gorilla” interpretation.
It’ll be amazing because Mark is going to play the roles of Tom Brady, Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman, and Rob Gronkowski.
