Nah, they’ve mostly moved on to heroin, they’ll be fine.
Nah, they’ve mostly moved on to heroin, they’ll be fine.
This is going to be a back-biting snakepit of an administration. Does anyone really think any of these people - including Trump himself - have the stomach for four grinding years of public service? Once they’ve made the deals they came to make, exploited what they came to exploit, they’ll be off to greener, less…
Kellyanne Conway is one in yet another long line of women like Phyllis Schlafly who love to lean on the idea that women are weak as a way to give themselves power. They trod on the ambitions and hopes of other women in order to highlight their own strength.
The south should be quaking with fear right now, since Kelly is a direct threat to their meth supply. Everyone knows it takes an entire trailer park’s worth of meth to get her through a single interview. By the end of January, there’ll be no meth left in the western hemisphere.
I’ve signed the petition. Thanks for sharing this information.
I knew it was a trap when they demanded Charlotte repeal their ordinance first before they’d deign to repeal the tremendously unpopular bill. Even though the last election was basically a state referendum on how much everyone hates HB2. “No fair you didn’t repeal the whole ordinance so now people might think trans…
This seems to gloss over a few things. The state lawmakers were crying alligator tears over the provisions that Charlotte kept, despite previous assurances that all they wanted was for the LGBT protections removed. So, Charlotte removed them.
Also, what radical social engineering? This is exactly how your state was UNTIL MARCH OF THIS VERY FUCKING YEAR!
Republican Senate Leader Phil Berger blamed Democrats saying “Their action proves they only wanted a repeal in order to force radical social engineering and shared bathrooms across North Carolina, at the expense of our state’s families, our reputation and our economy.”
at the expense of our state’s ... reputation
This political trend right now that is propagating the notion that legislatures should have the final say over the academic work done at colleges and universities is absolutely, nightmare-inducingly chilling.
Not just university courses, but bike lanes! From Steve Nass’ wiki page:
Why isn’t anyone speaking out against this shit?
It was just an initial concept anyway. Those thousands of glossy brochures they had printed up and distributed were just drafts. Having lawyers form this organization with Trump children on the board? Just brainstorming. Calm down.
So they’re on the board but are not actually involved in any oversight? Basically they’re using the privilege associated with being close to the President to benefit without doing any actual work? Sound about right....
Oh come on.
