@Cleesox: Since they removed linux there have been cracked firmwares that allow you to update and retain linux, you can then use linux to bypass the hypervisor, effectively handing total control of the unit to whoever wants it. Problem is no one has done anything with it, I can't imagine much coming out of the ps3…
