I've definitely seen tabloid articles about possible gay celebrities. Oprah, clay Aiken, and Queen Latifah to name a few. Also, the Gawker sites have produced multiple articles about suspected gay celebrities and politicians.

Its no different. Everyone who commented in disgust about people gossiping about Jenners surgeries had better never gossip about the surgeries of anyone else. Trans people are not the only ones who deserve privacy regarding medical procedures.
