In all fairness, Sonic Mania looks like it could be pretty good. Generations and Colors were good, too.

Frankly, I think the number of PS4 gamers looking to mod a 5-year old game that’s already had mods from the get-go on PC is a pretty small number. Are they alienating a few people? Yeah. But most of the gamers who care about mods aren’t playing on a PS4 to begin with.

Except that the combat in Witcher is atrocious. People go on and on about the glory of CDPR, but they seem to be overlooking the fact that the basic gameplay is awful. They are by no means a “testament to how games should be done” but moreso how good customer relations can lead to people forgiving blatant flaws.

I will never not laugh at people who think that the draw system in FF8 was a bad thing.

I respect the hell out of this decision. The data miners don’t care about spoilers, but a lot of people do. There’s not enough surprises in video games these days.

I think we already know the answer to the question. No. It won’t live up to the hype. How could it?

But the gameplay and mechanics are certainly spoiler material. Not to mention the game devs have inserted actual lore to find and deconstruct (i.e. the Center). I don’t blame Sean for being unhappy at spoilers.
