But does it do RPN and come with a vinyl belt pouch? It won't be fully geektastic until it does.

I really want to see the same thing done with ground-attack forces. You could have an entire bracket of Space Marines!

@kingmaker: The nook does handle both DRM and non-DRM sideloaded epubs and pdfs. What it doesn't do is handle graphics very well due to a lack of zoom. Hopefully B&N will provide that in a future software update.

I saw the photo and half-read the headline and my caffiene-deficient brain went "Oh. Autonomous GorillaPod. Cool."

I want a car with an autopilot that has the following three settings:

The Douglas Adams quote is the reason I stopped using the term "fool-proof" and started using "fool-resistant"

I learned to knap at Cahokia Mounds during a summer program on archaeology when I was a kid. The guy who taught the class made things out of those cobalt-blue glass Milk of Magnesia bottles. The chert (like flint) stuff was less prone to breaking, but not as cool looking.

@Wisky and Coke: I think you meant to post that in the Gawker story on the California Primaries.

@ChanHoParkour: I have similar feelings but about flipping open the Sunday paper and seeing "Northwestern 17- Notre Dame 14"

No X-29? With the canards and the forward-swept wings? So inherently unstable that if the computer controls ever failed, you wouldn't live long enough to see the BSD.

I've been to Korea a lot and can't recall seeing a Kia Elan. I'll have to look for them, if there are any left on the road.

@AmishJohn: Watching one of those things move over rough terrain while the gun remains rock-solid on target is mesmerizing.

@Traveshamockery: Combine that with Clancy sidestepping the Farve mess by not buying the Vikes when he had the chance, and it gets really creepy.
