Remember when 76ers fans threw a championship parade on twitter as soon as they made the pick swap with the Celtics?

My imagined scenario was an Otani led WC win against the Red Sox then getting swept by the Astros.
The Angels pitching rotation was awful last year, with FIPs all around 5. Even if Otani is an instant superstar(and I hope he is!) I don’t see how this move alone slots the Angels for anything more than an ALDS loss.
*Curt Schilling sets a Google Alert and begins work shopping takes.*
All of the above, plus Thibs tendency to pump up his players Minutes in a league moving towards strategic rest, makes me wonder how he still has a job. He’s a bad coach!
“and that is my opion, and you know what they say about opinions, they are like assholes, everyone has one,,except you are an asshole”
I thought there was a rule that a player was down, even if untouched, if it seemed like he was done trying to advance.
Baseball is way more geared for it because there are way more draft picks per team, you can keep guys down in the minors for awhile, promote them when you need them, andthen once you do, you have 6 years of team control.
Also batters calling time. Want someone to add up all mound visits + batters stepping out
Even giving the benefit of the doubt and assuming he meant “asylum,” how is that any better?
Keuchel had a subpar start but I wouldn’t call 4 runs over 4.2 innings “KEUCHEL EXPOSED”
Astros fan here, and I am The Worst because I believe both that if Houston makes the series they’ll beat up on the Dodgers starters, but if the Yankees do then Kershaw will have them spinning on their bats all night.
Did Greg Howard guest write the Thunder one?
Some of you drink milk every day?
Cautiously optimistic about this, like one tweet said, it would be awesome for a large scale renewable energy project to take shape. But, given PR’s history with debt and outside forces trying to control the island, I want to see the terms of the deal.
I’m confused at the anti-union/worker sentiment in the comments. We’re complaining about a bunch of workers who make under $100K fighting for their jobs and futures. Meanwhile, the top 5 executives at GM made a combined $67 million in 2015.
That’s a great idea. Thanks for the info.
This includes both my cars! We are close to Buffalo Bayou, parked in an elevated garage with flood gates, but it clearly wasn’t enough. Finally went back down there this morning and it’s not pretty.
