What moron at Kotaku thought it was a good idea to give this guy the reins to talk about The Last of Us: a game he didn’t play, judged after the first 10mins and dropped it because he didn’t like how it made him feel (and basically thinks the game’s opening is a criminal offense), knows nothing of when the game was

36 here and I find posts like these very puzzling. I didn’t do any min-maxing, very bare amount of research (forget where to go after coming back to the game some days later) and basically built a character based on what I thought would work, while also knowing that some of the hybrid and magic classes are, and always

Kotaku never ceases to amaze me at the mental gymnastics and Stretch Armstrong-level of reach for social justice. I’m realizing that at this point I’m only coming to this site to find idiotic posts to get angry over. Funny thing though, if everyone like me stopped going to this self-righteous circle-jerk of a site, I

Why do people keep talking “on behalf” of some community? I see nothing about conversations with disabled people, nothing about promoting THEM as the voices for their community. Give THEM an outlet to voice their concerns.... if they have any.

Who in the disabled community was insulted by this? Please, stop speaking for others.

Having seen the responses of actual disabled people who think this is completely unnecessary bs, stop your white-knighting and feeling like you need to speak for the underprivileged. You want to do them a favor? Give THEM a voice to speak their concerns directly, and maybe we can all actually learn a thing or two.

Not sure why no one ever puts Armada on the list. Probably one of the coolest space action games I’ve ever played.

The terror I feel when I stumble upon one is unprecedented

I’m sorry, but none of the MMOs from 10+ years ago had gender locking. World of Warcraft, Everquest, Ragnarok Online, Ultima Online, Runescape, etc., all had gender choice.

It’s awful articles like this with weird, hateful takes that make me absolutely despise this site... yet still return with some strange, morbid curiosity to see how low their writers will go to pander to the current social climate.

Just out of curiosity, what about D2 Resurrected makes it difficult to play with time constraints? Progression is pretty straightforward, time invested = progression. Once you get to lvl 15+ you can start doing runs that can take minutes at a time. If anything, I feel like D2 is one of the more accessible games for

What’s your reason for actually wanting personal loot in D2? I feel like the negatives far outweigh the positives. I personally loved the thrill of waiting for that last 10% of life to tick away before scrambling to grab the items on the floor, it’s a huge part of the game that I don’t want to give up. On top of the

So far this is the most accurate description of Asmongold I’ve read in this comment section. Seems most people here haven’t seen much of him to really understand or are just getting second-hand outrage from reading other misinformed people commenting about him.

The problem is that these employees is that these in-game characters are representations of themselves. These aren’t characters that they created, they ARE these characters. So I do think its fair to redo voices and names/models that represent the actual employee. If said employee created an iconic NPC with some

Well that’s a stretch...

“All orders placed using bots will be cancelled and their inventory will be allocated to real users,” Analogue’s announcement reads. “Analogue will be monitoring resale websites like eBay to report scalpers reselling pre-orders (resales of Analogue products that the seller does not have in their possession). This is

Not everything has to be about sexism, certainly not this. Hugo has always seemed genuine and passionate about his craft which makes me far more inclined to read his comments for what they are, genuine, instead of trying to twist some sexist accusation between the lines. Seriously though, just make a female version of

This is what more companies, who are trying to bank on nostalgia, need to realize. It’s not all about recreating the exact experience (I’m looking at you WoW Classic)

I honestly found Project Octopath Traveler to be more of a Project Milking Nostalgia, which is why I’m personally not excited for this one at all.
