No way, Jim and his smugness finally got what was coming to him.

Ok so i knew McCain and Palin weren’t friends but I didn’t realize the beef rose to the level of a posthumous dis-invite. When did that shit happen?
I wish Ansari would come back, and not this guy. Ansari was a jackass and he could do good by learning about and commenting on consent. But I always felt he wasn’t at the level at some of these guys. He was just a creep, but one that could be taught, and start a real conversation that could be helpful.
I think X2 is a more enjoyable film, but I’m glad he tackled Hulk because it’s a more interesting film to talk about. It probably did have a bigger effect on later Marvel movies than if it had been an outright success.
It was a very stupid movie, but I’ve somehow seen it more than once.
The whole “Nautilus fits just fine in the Venetian canals” bit got to me.
And the CIA didn’t exist until post-WWII
O_o
Best X-Men movie. (As much as I loved Logan, I don’t quite consider it an X-Men movie.)
I wish Bujalski would go make another weird masterpiece like Computer Chess. But Results did win me over in the end. This is definitely more in that vein though but I’ll still check this out.
You really need to stop with the autoplaying video ads. It’s not ok.
Unfriended: Dark Web was at SXSW. Not this one.
This was reasonably funny. Certainly no Game Night. As stated, there were some really solid performances; Buress, Fisher, and Johnson were standouts, while Hamm gets an honorable mention, and Rashida Jones was waaaaay underutilized. B- seems fair.
I’ll watch anything with this cast. Sometimes it works (Game Night). Sometimes it doesn’t (The House). But you’ve got to support this kind of stuff if you want funny people to keep making big(gish) budget comedies for adults.
No, they’re on a remote island called Manhattan.
The real life people are really interesting in this regard. From CEO to teacher to a priest. They are an odd collection, but it is somehow endearing to see them still have relationships 20-30 years later. Not my idea of fun or how I’d plan to keep in touch but whatever works, I guess.
Are you on a remote island in Alaska that going to a movie costs $50+ for two?
I want Leslie Bibb to be in more movies, but my god, at what cost?
“There’s something mildly depressing about viewing petty gamesmanship as the engine that fuels and sustains male friendship.”
So it took something that’s likely just a fun tradition between longtime buds and ratched it up to eleven like we all expected? I dunno. The cast is solid. It looks like an OK time though I might not catch it on opening weekend but might Redbox at some point. Plus, it’s nice to see Jake Johnson and Hannibal Burress in…
