No most other states have always had temporary paper tags, these were basically branded ads. I’ve never seen anything like the creativity of the dealer plates in LA - some had really fun designs - Beverly Hills Mercedes plates used to be a sunset / palm tree graphic.

Eh, I sat shotgun in one of these and no. The manual is hot fucking garbage and the engine is anemic. Not to mention the NVH and interior in general left A LOT to be desired.

I mean, i like the idea of a sunroof, and i’ve occasionally used them in cars that have them, but I’ve never been in a car without them and thought “damn, the lack of a sunroof is really ruining this experience.”

Fuck, yeah, on zipper merging. It is not a competition. You are not doing the world a favor by blocking folks from merging or playing line-cop. Use both lanes and merge one-in-front-one-behind at the pinch point.
