I’ve got some on mine as well. After 6 years, I’m kind of tired of them. I think I might need to paint them or something.
I am seeing this more and more with people in older cars, specifically old Corollas and Accords. It’s either the bulbs themselves are fading so they have to use the high beams, or they think everyone else with their new super LED HID 4K headlights are their brights and they feel they should be able to do the same.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Is that a Woodford Reserve store pick you’re drinking Jason?
I voted NP, although would it be hard to re-register it since it hasn’t been done since 2014? I see it passed emissions, but that would make me pause.
Do pizza places still use those things?
Would make for some good S&Gs.
You may have some luck with Ally or US Bank if they’re available in your area. They have really stepped up on leasing the past year or so, and they may do it. Probably won’t be low payment, but if you’re dead set on a 124, it wouldn’t hurt to try.
But the seats were flat and hard, the rear door was a pain to swing open and close, the transmission hunted around town like a drug addict and the only other vehicle with a larger steering wheel that the CR-V would be the tiller on the Titanic. It did well, but I did not enjoy it.
Because people are naive and think that if they live in the suburbs, nothing bad will/should happen to them.
We have it every summer in my neighborhood. Kids/junkies will find their way to our neighborhood, come through and ransack unlocked vehicles in the middle of the night. The next day, NextDoor is flooded with…
Andrew’s suggestion is 100% the best choice.
You don’t even need to be in a lowered car. Anything that’s not a damn SUV/truck will blind you. Had a brand new Wrangler behind me with their factory HIDs last night and I’m still seeing stars this morning.
Great vehicle, crack pricing.
I do this at times if I know we’re driving a ton of miles in a short amount of time. Usually it’s if we’re driving 1,000+ miles in a week. I’ve rented Optimas/Camrys/Altimas for $160/week that fits all of my family’s crap comfortably, gets 30-35 mpg on regular gas, and I’m not tearing up my wife’s car nor cramming all…
One of my favorite engine/transmission pairings, and in a wagon no less. Unreliable as all hell, but I voted NP just because it’s a dream car.
Great story.
