That's a pretty awesome homage. Though I suppose they have plenty to work with.

Oh, no. I totally get that. That's actually why I prefer Marvel so much. I just mean lately they seem to be going for more grimdark stuff (sorry spoilers). Iron Man pretty much starting a full on war to raise profit margins, Xavier sending Cyclops' brother and a handful of others to their death long ago and

Marvel has really tried amping up the douchbaggery in their heroes in the past few years. I never stray much from X-Men, so Xavier, Cyclops and Iron Man are the only real ones I know off hand. But I'm sure it's pretty wide spread with the gritty super hero trend. Still, beats DC.

I guess Deadzone kind of applies. But no reason we can't have a better one.

Psychic is weak to dark and bug because they are common fears. And fear is the mind killer.

When asked for comment, head zoo keeper said, "You know tigers are naturally very strong swimmers, right?"

I'm in the camp that thing the artist misfired. I read them as role models as cartoon characters. Not the glitterywashing satire he/she was apparently going for. Anne Frank is the only one blatant enough to make it obvious.

I've always wanted to see something that passes solely because two woman discuss the test. I bet Community could get away with it, Britta and one of the other women.

Taste gives you calories, so they eliminated the calories.

I know I've seen lists like that but I'm glad someone posted one. I won't call it ignorance but it's kind of strange some people think no fictional characters have a stated religion. Especially with guys like Nightcrawler who are downright devout.

What is that? I love it.

It was a line from the Justsomeguy videos back when his first prequel was being announced. Not surprising it's still relevant though.

It's not like she's Ms Koran or anything. She's a Muslim in the same way that she is a teenager. It's just in her makeup. Talk of her family seems to bring up old tropes, but they seem to be handling it in a tasteful manner. And it's not DC, so we can give them some faith before rushing to decisions.
