Very true, thanks for the change in perspective Charlotte! :)
Really?! That is awesome...my grammar isn’t perfect but I try to be as accurate as possible.
Growing up Catholic I never understood how we weren’t Christian...but now I’m an afirmed Heathen and don’t care.
My dad does that too! I hear someone else whistle like that and I think ‘Dad?’. :)
Nearly every third girl in my class was a Jennifer, Jenny, Jen...I blame Love Story.
Or peel a real carrot, learn how to chop veggies, create something ultra special and rare in the Duggar household...a salad with no iceberg lettuce. Can they handle the anticipation?
I feel I’m pretty up on cult-ish behaviour but I hadn’t heard of this! that’s almost better than the Orthodox Jewish men wearing women-blocking glasses!!
Seconded!
In a lot of Middle Eastern weddings it’s as big a bash as American ones, if not bigger from what I’m been too. I’d guess Turkish weddings are too.
I’m not, and have never been married, but I do ask for charitable donations at Xmas instead of gifts. I’m totally stealing this idea for my not-anywhere-close future wedding. :)
My uncle, who’d been in an iron lung as a kid, has P-PS and it suuuucks! It’s so hard for him poor guy.
This is awesome, good for them!!
Me neither! I wonder how Schmidle feels about going from Bin Laden to TMZ though? Bit of a downer, or just another piece to work on...Next Scientology!
So true. And it’s all about clothes, hair, or guys...sigh. When I was underemployed for three years it was “What’s wrong with you that you aren’t getting hired?”; when I was going through therapy, “I liked you better before.” I was standing up for myself and learning to be my own person.
That’s right up there with being told my vulva looked like raw hamburger. I know I’m pretty pale but I’m not in control of my melanin, asswipe!
Sing it fellow museum employee! A lot of folks wonder if I’m in school, which I take as a compliment, before I tell them I have a MA. One guy a few weeks ago was like “you don’t make much for having a MA.” And I said, “Well working in museums means you just get to look at the pretty things, not own them.”
At least you tried...I’m a horrible speller too, always the first one out in spelling bees.
I wondered that too. Checking incidents of inflamation in TB testing?
Me either...? Unless I’mm thinking of the smallpox one. Which left the big scar?
