Krava Maga is good. But I travel alone, overseas even, and am generally without fear. But that situation would have spooked me too. Good for Alexis, getting back into her car.

Me too! I try not to compare myself to others but I do a lot of ‘so and so did this by this age” which just makes me feel worse. I blame my OCD.

As a woman with OCD who is turning 36 in a few weeks this article makes me feel a bit better. Whew!

Hugs! Glad you are in a better place now.

Hugs! I can get all in the mood and then have my mind just shut off, and I don’t know why. For me I think it’s a control thing since any penetrative sex is hard for me, so my body just shuts down first?

Me too! And I’ve decided that my posterior tipped uterus aside I’m just crappy at penetrative sex so I’ve given up at it. In case I ever decide to go back what positions work better for you?

We were building sand castles on the beach one time and had major flash-flooding that brought water through the bottom of our platform tents (in a state that normally doesn’t have it). A second time we were respectfully disposing of flags and again, crazy weather. Inside to the mess hall we went...Girl Scout solution?

I’ve only grown to like coffee recently, with a large amount of sugar and milk/flavor thingy of course, because it’s the only thing that helps kick my migraines sometimes. Still the odd drinker out.

We had those too! With the ‘slippy’ lides that didn’t stay on, would leak if they tipped over, and when they get really old they smell funny? Good times.

I get almond milk sometimes. I mostly use dry for cooking or will buy pints of 1% for drinking, dipping oreos, eating cereal. You know, the important things. :)

Please give us the hate-light version. I’m on a fox-diet. :)

Or doing it during a tornado! That happened during two of my camping trips... still love camping.

Hahaha! CoTD!

Sure! Leaders, and camps, always need help...always.

I loved Scouts. I was in it until 8th grade and nearly had my Silver award and then the Troop disbanded. Maybe I shouldn’t have invited that one girl to join...Oops.

I only stopped liking milk once I worked on a farm, not for any particular reason other than dairying is a messy business, and now that my gallbladder is out I have issues with it. But a few drops in a cup of black tea is ok.

I work at a museum that talks about slavery, and maybe because I’m white, the amount of slavery apologist among older people (not just the elderly) can be frustrating. Especially since I’m trying to keep my job, be polite to everyone (other visitors), and mitigate conversations that can spill over to other audiences.

It could be a purred hummus dip with roasted and unroasted red peppers!

A former coworker of mine remembers I like tea and always gives me a strong cup of tea with my breakfast. :) Did you have more milky tea as a kid?

Lisa Cartwright’s ‘tea emergency’ had me cracking up. My family are big tea drinkers and I’ve inherited the habit of carrying tea bags with me everywhere and just asking for hot water. I grew up Up North and now live in TX and I abhor my tea sweetened, chilled, iced, or anything other than hot. I love your phrased and
