I think Castriota’s work on the exterior belies much of the ‘jankiness’ that goes on at SSC. If their cars still looked like this:

So they hit 331mph Canadian?

Have you tried squeezing into a Mustang when a car parked about 18" away from the driver side? It can be done but trying to slither into slightly opened door usually results in pressing the edge of the door against whatever is keeping it from opening wider, and due to the sheer length of the door, it’s impossible to

That kind of thinking has always baffled me.

those look like ass

Not very manly.  Do they have them in skulls or barbed wire for my angry faced Wrangler?

A large portion of HD trucks are company owned vehicles, which are also not the average car owner.

For vehicles no longer in production: I have no idea

Models with low sample size, heavy-duty trucks and work vans, and models which were no longer in production as of the 2020 or 2021 model year were excluded from the analysis.

The 2019 is more than just a stereo. It has 26 more horsepower with a higher redline. It’s a very noticeable difference when driving the two. The 2016-2018 feels really slow. The 2019 doesn’t feel fast, but it feels like it has an adequate amount of power. That’s going to be much more noticeable day to day than a LSD.

On the former: stereo systems eventually need replacing, and you can find the better seats aftermarket, but that better transmission, or a car with an actual LSD as opposed to an open rear differential, will cost you so much more to eventually replace if you want it.

GM made a profit around 3 BILLION dollars in 2020, they’re doing just fine.

Lambo built a crossoverish super CUV - GM wants the 10's of people who think this is a great compromise.

I think it looks like an elephant standing on a loading dock.

That’s just an aftermarket badge for people who want to pretend that their Kia isn’t a Kia, see also fake Raptor grille people and red badge Honda people

If Ford’s actual intention was for these to be driven, their strategy inadvertently ended up making sure that didn’t happen. The limited production run and high publicity around the 2 year limit ensured that they would be selling way over MSRP once that time limit expired. Owners who wanted to make a huge return on

I expected to see David Tracy shopping for a new project at the docks

That’s why I’ve never bothered with that Progressive plugin device. The way they want me to drive will get me killed in Houston.

1st Gear:

First gear: these big brother insurance schemes are multiplying like Kudzu. It sounds fine at first- don’t sign up for these if you aren’t ok with being tracked. But it could get to the point that signing up to be tracked is the only way to avoid paying double or more in car insurance.
