GM does a decent job nowadays with cylinder deactivation. My Camaro is pretty good at dynamically switching and I get 30+ mpg on the highway in V4 mode and it’s pretty good at kicking in the other 4 without lag.

They need to kill the ugly KIA badge in the front and also extend the hood to the grill, so it doesn’t have the awkward gap.

Make it like Jeopardy and make them buzz in.

I’m not a fan of the new Silverado, but the F-150 is about as bland as you can get. That linked one is atrocious. $32k for a very basic single cab short bed work truck.

They still have the EDGE ST and the EXPLORER ST though. All caps for emphasis because the rest of the car isn’t.

It’s all about how big of brakes that you can fit in there. A bigger rim means bigger rotor and caliper. Especially with these massive Brembo packages now.

I have a 3/4 ton Chevy. It’s my weekend hauler and takes my motorcycles and snowmobiles around. I would never DD it though. Gas mileage is horrible and it’s impractical for day to day use.

The funny thing is that Camaro/Mustang/Porsche probably still gets better mileage than a full size massive pick up.

How much do people actually tow or haul with their 1/2 ton’s anyway? The occasional board from Home Depot or a bag of grass seed?
