Not surprised, I took a flight back to NY out of Charlotte, NC and they almost didn't let an Orthodox family on the plane as they were bringing and I quote "He wants to bring this wooden thing on the plane". It was a torah in scroll form, they finally let them bring it on and we went on our way.

I'm in your boat when it comes to buying cars, if you're going to spend that kind of dough might as well be really good at one thing be it luxury or speed, rather than an amalgamation of the two and not excel at either.

@Lord Dr. Nürburgring III, Esquire: Agreed, but I don't think the 6 is competition for the 911. I think it's more in the same bracket as the SL550, it's an expensive grand tourer, not a sports car.

@jomyke242: I was thinking about that too, maybe he just sits there in the dark until the ride's over.

You know, when I first saw this thing in pictures I thought it was boring and generic. In real life though it definitely looks really good; modern and clean, not a crazy busy design you would expect of a manufacturer of super cars.

@TheAntiCat: Dyad Scout Craft edition: Much better this way! I feel like everything's back to normal. @IFTNFS: Cheers! I'd much rather listen to someone sitting on the opposite side of the fence then me as far as politics go, I think I've learned more about my own views listening to well spoken people who don't agree

Is there any way to add people as friends or anything?

Agreed. I heard an interview with one of Reagan's advisor's who was in charge of the tax policy under Reagan and he said that we could lower taxes for everyone in this country and solve a lot of our budget ills by getting rid of all the tax loop holes. I'll have to see if I can scare it up and find it for you guys.

You know I may be a little left of center but I love smart political discourse. Heartclick for you sirs.

No one's talking about the unions anymore; it's the collective bargaining rights that's at the heart of the issue.

Read my comment above, hopefully it's enlightening to your sensibilities...

I'm tired of the whining that goes on every time Jalopnik puts up an article that has something to do with politics. If you want car news and nothing but, go to Autoblog.

Only if they're mutant piranha's, you're not really a super villain until you have a tank of mutant piranhas with more piranha's strapped to them (makes them more deadly).

Do want; does this shot remind anyone else of the Ford GT-90 concept? :looks inside: My God! It's full of angles!!!!!

Is that another 914 in the Bridgestone livery?

Ugh, I love Billy Cobham. He was great with the orchestra but have you guys heard him with George Duke? Just disgusting stuff, some of the funkiest, most ridiculous grooves ever. Pick up Billy Cobham and George Duke band-Live on tour in Europe, it's fantastic. It's got the two of them with John MClaughlin and Alphonso

This is right by my house, sheer jackassery.

Agreed, while it was fun watching Audi give everyone a thorough beating since 2000, I'm ready for some change. Maybe Ferrari will magically produce a prototype to race in LMP1 and it'll be the 60's all over again!
