No the messsage is don’t be an antagonistic asshole to the fans aka your customers, especially those who are being nothing but polite and respectful. She’s been a PR nightmare for ages on how she acts on social media. She responded to a reasonable person with something rude about gender that had nothing to do with gender. She deserved it.

All I want add is that as a professional, you’re supposed to be better than your customer. I get people blaming me for issues and my expertise all the time, but do I lash out back at them the way Price did? No. I stay calm and understand that this is the business I am in.

You forgot to mention the part where the guy was offering constructive criticism in a polite way and in no way referenced her gender. It was all her going after the guy and her making it a gender issue.

I just remembered she was celebrating TotalBiscuit’s death on a tweet -- yeah, miss me with that shit. 

If you read the original thread though it seems to hint at more going on. She was clearly not having a good time at her job. She wrote a long list of complaints about the difficulties of writing an interesting main character in an MMORPG. She probably wasn’t a good fit for the job.

They should have been fired a long time ago over the junk they are passing off as writing. GW2 has the worst writing I have ever seen in a game, and it baffles me that anyone over 12 can stand playing it. I’m not even exaggerating.
