I think anyone who says SS had bad motion controls... actually has bad motor control. :)

Trying to sabotage someone because you don’t like their behavior, using a technical measure which was never intended to be used for such reasons...

Because you completely miss (avoid) the point, instead going right for the “this game sucks and my opinion on that is fact” for some weird reason.

d’awww lookit the little troll

But you don’t need VR for that. That’s the kind of thing that’s handled by motion controls or stuff like Kinect or the Wii’s balance board.

Are you serious? BotW’s motion aiming is great. Who told you to disable it? I know there are a lot of people who just have some irrational beef with it (probably still bitter about the Wii’s success for some reason).

Well, except motion controls are now the preferred control method in a shooter like Splatoon 2 because it’s competitively superior to analogue stick aiming.

Bull honkey. Weapon durability is exactly the way it should be. Weapons break at a much lower rate than you receive new ones. And if you’re just using branches to kill everything and hoarding your best weapons? You’re doing it wrong. Always use your best weapon, because a good or better replacement is always just

Hahaha I see you’re right on the same level as her, deleting anything that even slightly ruffles your feathers. You’re very mature I’m sure! Well guess what, I can do the same. :)

Nice try, but no. Not liking someone’s tone is a very weak reason to delete comments. It shows a level of immaturity much worse than you think the comment did in the first place. It’s just petty.

Wrong on both counts. I’m saying HL, unlike Doom, Quake or other first person shooters at the time, was most famous for establishing the “cinematic setpiece” type of FPS, and as such it was much more straightforward in structure than almost anything in the genre up until then. That’s why calling its levels “complex

Hahaha, if a relatively innocuous comment like “you must have not played Doom or Quake if you think HL had complex mazes” sets you off to the point of deleting it, Heather, then maybe you should have a good long look at yourself.

PS: two can play that game. ;)

You played them “back in the day”, I still play them at least once a year. HL’s levels are relatively straightforward compared to Doom or Quake - and of course they are! As you said, HL was ground breaking, as it basically invented the modern “cinematic setpiece” FPS.

It’s fine, I guess. It’s very generic. Could have been used on any other comment. It burns more if it’s more personal, you know?

Look, you’re super clever and all, but HL’s levels still aren’t “complex mazes”, sorry. :)

Half-Life’s levels are complex mazes,

If you don’t utilize game mechanics, I don’t find it odd at all that you miss stuff tbh. :P

It’s been over a decade since it came out, and it still looks better than, oh, everything.

This is a genuinely great idea. It needs to be the chibi version you collect in game, obviously.
