Holy hell, that Corpse Run comic has so many different implications.

And pretentious fuckwits don’t get to decide what is and isn’t the appropriate time and venue. :)
This app looks way too well designed and not tacky enough to be from 2004. And yes, that says a lot.
LOL did you really just reply to my post back from april without even reading the 4 other replies from april which said the exact same thing you just did? Are you trolling? Either way, not even gonna bother retyping the same answer, just read this: http://kotaku.com/1794630078
I’m pretty sure that’s a no. Look through this thread. There’s nobody who thinks Big Bang Theory viewers are committing a moral wrong. Well, I’m sure there’s one or two crazies out there who do, but this, this is like a common opinion right now.
This goes counter to what I’ve heard from many OW players tbh.
Stop it with the bullshit. Nobody treats those things the same way they treat this, namely that those who enjoy it are scum.
But here’s a whole bunch of people just turning their nose up at hotdogs period, pretending they’re some moral affront, while calling anyone who likes them “juvenile”. If that isn’t the epitome of pretentious judgmental bullshit then I don’t know what is.
Ah, I see. Kinda sad, but oh well.
Are you sure Terry Crews isn’t doing the voice? Have you got a source for this? I mean, just because he’s not doing his usual POWEEEEEERRRRRRR voice... he’s a professional, I’m sure he sounds way different when he’s trying to be solemn and serious, plus a simulated accent.
“Drawn with a computer tablet” still counts as “hand-drawn”. It’s still 2D lines done by hand with a pen. The vast majority of all anime is still this.
UPDATE: Kamitani sent me a message this afternoon, in Japanese. Wired’s Chris Kohler helped me translate: “While the picture of the dwarfs was meant to be a lighthearted joke, after it became bigger than I thought it would, I reflected on the rashness of it. I am sorry. I have no hard feelings about the article.”
Oh yeah the 500+ episode animes are way too intimidating for me, and probably other casual watchers.
I’ve seen only about a fifth of them, so I’ve got catching up to do. Then again I don’t much enjoy the real heart-breaking stuff so I can scratch that off. :P
Kinja doesn’t actually enlarge it when you click on the enlarge icon for some dumb reason, but the full image is all there: https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/jkda6utmosnpwsztnlux.jpg
Though I guess if you’re talking about the actual thick ink-on-paper look as opposed to digital inks, I guess that’s kinda gone and I miss it too. But that doesn’t make stuff like KLK or space dandy any less well-animated.
Here’s a direct link to the image I posted since Kinja doesn’t show it full size: https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/jkda6utmosnpwsztnlux.jpg
Hmmm, I guess Kinja scales it down. Typical. Well, if you first left click to zoom in, then right click on that version and “view image” (firefox) or “open image in new tab” (chrome) you get the full-size one with legible text.
Maybe you haven’t been watching the right ones. Also, you forget CB used CGI in places as well, in fact it was a bit of a pioneer in that it actually did it properly without having to gauge your eyes out.
Oh there’s loads. Japan churns out like 50 new anime series each season, and I’m not even exaggerating. And most of it is hand-drawn! Of course there’s a lot of crap, but with those numbers there’s bound to be a gem at least once per season. So if you haven’t been keeping up with anime since Cowboy Bebop then you’re…
