Does anyone ever though this looks like necrofilia but with a zombie like humanoid?

I probably saying something really stupid because I didn't see the whole movie, but I can't understant where the guy had his gun hidden. I mean, I comes out of this cacoon thing, so he probably had been kidnaped too. And the aliens don't strip him off his gun?
