Oh, abso-fucking-lutely. That Playboy interview is tremendously important.

Wasn't John Lennon starting work on a memoir when he was murdered? I seem to remember reading that George Harrison's "I Me Mine" book pissed him off so he decided to write his own book, but he'd only done some preliminary note-taking when he was killed.

That is a fantastic idea

We still have Max Gail! He was on the next-to-last episode of "Mad Men", led the gang of Legionnaires who beat Don Draper up.

I wish they'd put Hal Linden in an episode, as an actor from a cop show or anything else.

"Girls"?

Probably wouldn't be this much charitable understanding if the gender roles were reversed.

I'm not sure why the writer characterizes Rebecca as "a good person". I tried this show, and I quit watching it, because Rebecca comes off as a selfish and awful and bad person.

I disagree.

Well, I don't buy that. They could reschedule a month later. They're the goddamn Oscars, they can find a building.

Paul Thomas Anderson has never made a bad movie. I don't think he's capable of making a bad movie. For fuck's sake, the guy made an Adam Sandler movie, and it was good.

Hey, let's hold on a minute. The 2nd Thin Man movie is very good. The 3rd and 4th Thin Man movies aren't as good, but they're watchable. The 5th and 6th, yeah, they're crap.

My favorite thing about "Cavalcade" is how Diana Baring has a particular head position for when she puts on her stiff upper lip. Head pointed slightly up and to the left, every time.

I base that on the opening scene where Maurice Chevalier goddamn LEERS at a small child while singing "Thank Heaven For Little Girls". Then there's how Gigi's family is training her to be a prostitute. And how they hold Gigi's mother in contempt for getting a job that doesn't involve sex work. And how the male lead

It's been scientifically determined that the worst BP winner of all time is "Cimarron". There's really nothing redeeming at all about that movie.

I watched the whole "Dr. Kildare" series when it was running in the Saturday matinee spot. It was fun.

Utilitary players indeed. Phil Hartman is Aykroyd's only equal as the do-anything type.

I was an 11-year-old male when Return of the Jedi came out.
