If they were being coy before about Selina being a Democrat they pretty much gave that up with the election episode at the end of last season when Selina's states were colored blue and pretty much matched a Democratic map and she said "a bag of hair" could win Vermont.

Well, really, the best way to not find out what's happening next week is to not watch the bit at the end of the show specifically dedicated to what's happening next week.

I think people figured out that bio-weapons were not a very good idea, being inherently uncontrollable. If Stephen King could figure it out, the government could. Americans and Russians both being Homo sapiens and all.
