…wait, is this a real thing?

"Politics is more complicated than Yea or Nay votes on bills that include many different parts."

I too was surprised to find out that Bernie voted for the crime bill. I guess BLM already humiliated him on a stage last year so now they're done.

Wasn't it glorious? I kept going from skit to skit, waiting for Leslie Jones to barge in and ruin everything.

Yeah, I took that opening sketch to be JLD looking what she actually is: old.

I watched the first two seasons of this show until I realized I didn't want Showtime anymore. I liked it, but the problem was that the main characters, the showrunners of "Pucks", just weren't very interesting or sympathetic. The wife was a bitch and the husband was a weakling.

In this episode of "Genevieve Valentine complains about Elementary", Genevieve Valentine complains about lesbian characters who are mean.

Look, lesbians never do anything bad. The reviewer told us so.

Guess we shouldn't be surprised that in an episode that was dedicated to Joan and Joan's family, that the writer of these reviews would still find reason to complain.

I think it was more a matter of Melissa not wanting to sleep with Phil because she didn't like him.

You just posted spoiler warnings for a movie that is 77 years old, in a discussion thread specifically dedicated to that movie. You should punch yourself.

People say he transitioned poorly, but he did keep getting parts for ten years after the talkies came in. Dude had been a star for twenty years going back to "Broken Blossoms" in 1919. Not too shabby.

Yeah, I agree, it's basically a well-done B-movie. It isn't even the best movie of 1939 with Jean Arthur in the cast.

…no.

This show is shit.

So…putting your hat on backwards is going to draw in fans?

Absolutely. That whole Kang article could have been distilled to "Goose Gossage is a racist."

Where was Jay Caspian Kang to write about how Brown should have spiked the ball and thrown his helmet over the goalposts?

Well, that's the thing about Mike Trout. He doesn't have to flip his bat and preen to be an exciting player. He just is.

So…what was the point of the entire Nina-in-gulag plot again.
