The Longest Journey starts off amazing, but once you start spending more time in Arcadia I just lost interest. The Stark world was very Bladerunner-esque, and I love that stuff. I did finish it eventually, years later, but it was a bit of a chore by the end.

Architecture wise it's definitely Islamic. The Arabic writing there is cut and pasted in because the beginning part is cut off making it hard to read the whole text.
