In my unscientific test my gmail inbox loaded in about 5-6 seconds in IE 7 and in about 3 second in Firefox 3 so I think this will give me yet another reason to never touch IE again.

Am i the only one who realizes that this means that people are going to go around to take pictures of bathrooms now? Seems kinda weird to me.

@ZanebonoEspish: chances are it has more to do with your internet speed than your computer's hardware

Please correct me if I'm wrong (I certainly hope that I am) but the iPod touch 2.0 has yet to be jailbroken.

I just tried openDNS and it works like a charm even though it says my router isn't supported. Maybe it's just my imagination (I'm far too lazy to run a speed test) but it does seem like my connection is a bit faster after setting it all up.

my second gen touch is getting lonely any word on when it'll be supported?

Please don't be slaves to your gawker bosses and go back to the old layout. I've already seen fit to adblock plus out that awful top stories banner and what bothers me even more than that is that the next page button has moved to the left instead of the right like it always had been for not obvious reason. Plus I miss

Interesting but I'm not sure i believe that last one...

I don't think that anything that the average consumer won't be able to spell just by hearing it will never become standard. Couldn't they have picked something that isn't cuil? Plus I don't think the average Joes care enough to try anything other than google.

I love how I'm supposed to use my cell phone camera to find my cell phone in the dark. Me thinks there may be a problem with that logic.

Way to go Gina and I support your belief as well!

I think think that vista really isn't as bad as people make it out to be. That said I still use XP but only because I don't have the financial resources to upgrade. (read as: I'm flat out broke.) But every time I've ever used it I have yet to encounter any problems.

I know that many (if not most) people will disagree with me, but I don't really mind Vista that much. Granted the UAC is almost unbearable but that is a minor complaint and it can be disabled with relative ease. And now that the drivers are available that make the majority of hardware compatible, it really is a step

This would make a great poll to see what everyone's favorite language is.

I remember seeing this on Mythbusters.

I bet that all those people who got the HD DVD decryption code tattooed on them a few months ago are having a really bad day.

@gbkrause: Just hit the stop button as it loads so that you have long enough to either change the address or delete the tab.
