That clip didn’t show Jake Tapper’s response. He’s a good journalist, I’m very surprised that he didn’t say that’s already been said many times.

:O!
Weird article. I read the entire thing and nowhere did it mention downloading more RAM.
Correct. But Valve only provides so many of them. The others are private. This is uniform across the board.
Hardcore CS players and pros are resistant to change for sure, that’s why new maps are so hard to come by and become popular and why the SG was this crazy great gun that nobody knew about for almost 4 years.
Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait for Source 2, we’ve been waiting for so long now lol. I just have a feeling that it’ll be a UI and quality of life change for the most part.
Ya, you could very well be right, I just don’t know if Riot accomplished it.
I’m going to disagree on Valorant being more tactical. If your teammate who flashes or smokes dies, you’re SOL; in CS, if your entry fragger or support player dies, at least you still can play out the round properly.
Honestly that’s totally fair and cool that you have a specific preference. I absolutely respect it!
If you’re right about region, I’d be totally okay with that. Playing PUBG from early beta and well into launch, the Chinese community added numbers to the player base and I’m surea ton of money to the company’s pockets, but they also created a lot of cheating problems for the game.
Source 2 has been rumoured for the past 3 years. I’ll believe it when I see it.
This is basically the only thing I think that will “make” Valorant the better game. Valve will do Valve things, and who knows when and if they’ll lose interest in CS.
Agree to disagree on this one. CS isn’t a good looking game, but subjectively I prefer the more realistic aesthetics. Valorant does a better job at making sure everything easily visible though, Valve can learn some things here.
There’s 0 rng in valorant. It’s all skill just as much as cs
I implied that people like CSGO for the fact that it is so pared down, so much so that the only thing to really differentiate you, is skill. Whereas in Valorant there’s a lot more RNG and tactics, as well as a lot more fluff.
you guys are cracked, how do you think abilities remove any skill at all? its different, or if anything adds a layer of skill
Eh? CS Pros don’t play on regular Valve 64 tick servers. I can’t imagine having 128 tick servers is why some lower tier CS pros jumped ship. It’s all about career opportunities.
Riot did a good job with Valorant, but I don’t get what it offers to really pull CSGO players away aside from the fact that it’s something new. It’s got a nice menu/UI and 128 tick servers, but everything else just seems like CSGO lite or as some people have put it, CSGO on easy mode.
You have a tow hook right above that position, why not mount it there?
I don’t really understand the future classic thing. Even if you’re not talking about M cars, in 20 years, why would this be more desirable than a 240i spec’ed the same way?
