While there’s joy to be had in examining a 1958 Aston Martin DBR1 up close in Forza Motorsport 7, these recent games aim for the platonic idea of cars many of us had as children. Fast, smashy, and bright.

    Make sense, thanks!

Sorta off topic question. Why do so many foreign automakers have (or are building) plants in the deep south?

Regardless of how China wants it to be, if you have been to HK you know how incredibly different it is from the mainland.

I want a sequel. Here’s hoping they sold enough to make it a reality!

Fair point, but you also don’t have to go full out with the options list. I’d argue that very few enthusiasts would be satisfy with a base 320i, are you not pushing close to $40k when you select the sports package?

That’s totally cool, but my point is that the “enthusiast’s spec” should not automatically mean base model. There are many enthusiasts that want creature comforts along with the performance parts.

I can appreciate that, but seeing how few base model cars are on the road, I would say that you and the author are in the minority.

I meant any “enthusiast’s choice” in general, not just trucks.

Still? Been out in Canada for a couple of months now, weird.

You really think there’s a lack of passing in IMSA or other multiclass races?

You can get a G70 with the manual for $35k, that’s the one I would go for instead. Shame about the 4 banger, but I would take the manual, the sportier suspension and better interior over the Stinger.

Bloob blub blub BLOOOOOPPPPHHB bloob bloob. Fermented apple juice!

    Wtf is Facebook?

Since the new Ram 1500 doesn’t come as a single cab, my bare-bones V8 truck was pretty close to being the “enthusiast’s choice” of the DT lineup. It’s got a cloth bench seat, a big V8 under the hood, four-wheel drive, a locking rear differential and not a whole lot else, and that—if you think about it—is all anyone

This isn’t going to be news to you, but here it is anyway. Ovals are boring.

I actually feel the opposite. Not digging the bubbly front and the weird center opening on the bumper, but I really dig the sculped rear end.

    :O!

I mean it’s RWD with good torque, why wouldn’t it drift?

Eh, something like that just doesn’t seem like the “‘Mmmmmmmerica, Fuck Ya!” thing to do.
