I don’t think I could be convinced to spend a long time confined to a ship, unless it was the only way to get someplace else I wanted to be.

Other criticisms, I’m not so sure of. I’m sick of hearing about Battlegrounds’ infinitely superior “gunfeel.”

Ya I didn’t drive it so I really wouldn’t know how it drove, and it is a little smaller than our 4Runner so that might explain the jumpy part.

I traveled to Indonesia for 2 weeks last month and saw this:

    Uhhh, that’s already been settled.

Oh no, not even close to the Witness aside from the aesthetics.

    Arms.

Jason, that keyboard has got to go.

Arcady shooters are fine (love me some Splatoon!), I was strictly talking about the gun play.

That sounds more like a server and/or latency issue than gun play mechanics. It would be nice if these problems don’t exist, but with the size of the player base and the server resources it takes to run a game like this for so many people, I understand why it doesn’t run perfectly all the time.

Good to hear! So did they change the ballistics and recoil for console? Or made the input a lot less sensitive so it’s easier to compensate for recoil?

Not really, this has been a talking point in the PUBG community pretty much since the game blew up around Summer last year.

I mean a game in Fortnite takes about 10-15 minutes, I think it’s worthwhile to at least try it and make your own judgement right?

    Now playing

The missiles, grenade launcher and snipers are all fine, it’s mainly the assault rifles, SMGs and pistols that feels off to me. I come from a CSGO background, used to gun play that has a strong recoil and noticeable spray patterns, which Fortnite doesn’t offer.

    Best idea yet!

The sniper rifles are the exception, ya. They feel good in Fortnite.

Ya, you really need to build to be competitive, so if you’re not into that mechanic that the game doesn’t really work.

PUBG (at least for PC, I don’t play on Xbox) is perfectly playable at this point, it being a janky mess is mostly a thing of the past. This is coming from someone who was very critical of its performance previously BTW, so it’s not like I’ve always defended the game like a fanboy.

I mean try it, maybe you’ll find the gun play acceptable when you actually play the game. It is free so what do you have to lose right?

    I wish Epic made PUBG.
