I guess it depends on the game. I play a lot of competitive games on PC and pretty much everyone I play with will lower settings to get better FPS.

Let me ask you this. When you’re talking with people about game performance and GPUs, do you ask them “what FPS are you getting?” or “are you running at 60?”.

So you somehow hard lock all your games to 60fps? Cool.

Ya, respond back and let me know what temps you’re getting in game before your PC crashes. Maybe I can help you troubleshoot the thing.

The way you said it just made it seem like 60fps was some gross eyesore.

Maybe it’s because I’m used to crouch jumping, and the timing is just a little different than vaulting out windows. I found myself jumping instead of vaulting a lot when I had them mapped to the same key.

I use RealTemp personally, but this particular app has a tendency to not start with windows after a fresh boot (which is fine for me as I rarely fully shut down my computer, I just put it to sleep) so you have to restart the app.

When did you capture my game play and why did you use it without my permission?

Ehhh, Persona 5 and Mario didn’t even make the honorable mentions.

Baseline as a starting point, sure, I don’t dispute that.

I’m confident in saying that very few people opt to lock in their fps at 60 on PC.

Fair enough, and my reply was mean spirited given that I thought you were trolling. My apologies.

Nothing about the master race BS, just saying that 60fps is typically not a talking point for PC gamers. And how your post makes it sound like a made up dig at PC by console ppl, “hey it runs better than consoles, but it also crashes all the time!”.

    Troll detected.

I thought that too, but with vaulting, the crouch jump is irrelevant.

    What?

Better to have jump and vault mapped to separate keys IMO. That way if you mis-timed the keypress, you won’t accidentally jump when you want to climb a wall.

Its developer, Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene, was an Arma 2 modder who, inspired by the movie Battle Royale, made a proto-Battlegrounds called DayZ: Battle Royale.

This door might be the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a video game all year.

Ahhh, fair enough. You might want to invest in a HDMI switcher, I’m sure you can get one for about $10 on Amazon now, definitely far easier than having to unplug things over and over.
