Oh my god that’s the best gif ever.
Lovely talking to you too. One thing that might help you decide whether you think he’s full of shit or not is the original quote where he uses the word:
Right, which is why we’re saying he’s using the wrong word.
Legal definition: “Whoever, under a threat of informing, or as a consideration for not informing, against any violation of any law of the United States, demands or receives any money or other valuable thing, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.” So this says that blackmail is…
Thanks. Reading the quotes was bad enough, I didn’t want to give him any more headspace. Dude is gross.
I haven’t read (and don’t want to, honestly) all of Stanhope’s statement but does he say “blackmail” at any point or is it just being misused in the headline?
That’s really not what the word “blackmail” means, though. The definition is “1. the action, treated as a criminal offense, of demanding money from a person in return for not revealing compromising or injurious information about that person.”
*sigh*
THANK YOU! I said to my boyfriend “Number One Hunter S. Thompson fan also turns out to be a spousal abuser. There’s a shock.”
Exactly. She’d see some guys facing a wall, not twirling their penises around. Plus, whose dick is the first one of she’s seeing “some other guys”?
You got it, bub.
Officially they should be snikts instead of clangs. Fans would be VERY disappointed if they didn’t make noise.
I don’t know if you’re serious or not but it’s really, really not “should of”, or “could of”, or “would of”. It’s always “have”.
You win. Shut down the internets for the day.
Eeesh, yes. I looked at that photo and said out loud “Someone’s had some work done.”
This is the best comment ever.
Seriously. Kesha is wearing a suit in the post right below this one! How is this such a cause for pearl clutching?
Same!
