I believe, if I’m not mistaken, originally Balthier was supposed to be leading man. Vaan and Penelo were added for the same reason Link wears tights; if the protagonist is too cool, they’re afraid players won’t relate as well. Load of bollocks, if you ask me.

An MMO is an MMO. They all follow the same sort of structure. Yeah, when you’re all done, it’s just a lot of raiding, but the journey there was so spectacular... I think everyone should only have one MMO for them. If you love FF, this will be your favorite.

I’d agree with tou if they used NES D-pads on the thing. I love the controller SO much, but that left and right-making-up-register is REALLY painful to me.
