That is a legitimate criticism. Some games, while simple, provided years of entertainment (Combat tanks anyone? Activision Hockey? Super Breakout?) Others were awful, such as the first Pac-Man…. But for all that the 2600 was amazing.

That would be my Lulu reference and a statement of recognition that a Beck Ryan Adams collaboration may suck.

Let's stop with the snarky Atari 2600 hate. I was 7 when this came out and it was so much bigger than an Xbox or Playstation and everyone spent entire days playing the same game over and over. We would have Atari Olympics where we would play all the games, total the scores, and declare champion. Primitive?

If she did more often she wouldn't as much hahahaha

Goes to the old story…. Dad asks his son "Whaddya wanna be when you grow up?"….. Son replies" A musician! " Dad replies" Well son you can't do both. "

Dafuq that mean?

Can I speak for everyone here and say the Bryan/Ryan Adams jokes are THE BEST?????

a Beck-Ryan Adams collaboration would be kind of awesome…..or Lulu.

Stuff helps.

You got me with the artwork.

Records…. I am likely older than most regular readers here, and I remember how exciting hearing a CD, so clear and difficult to damage! No pops hiss or crackle! Studio quality sound first play and every play! While I get the fetishist value of vinyl (I make coffee with a french press) the sonic value just is not

I have watched a few episodes, primarily as to cause friends who LOVE this show to stfu. It isn't funny, or is rarely funny, is a shallow and pathetic glossing, or slurring, over of history. It is to history what any home improvement show is to carpentry…that is to say embarassing, If this show were truly funny it

In this case MUCH of value is added, making Ryan Adams's version the Yin to Taylor Swift's Yang. I have listened to this album four times now and frankly see it as the embodiment of despair, beautiful and painful.
